INTRODUCTION
Mouth Dissolving tablet are solid single unit dosage forms that
are placed in mouth , allowed to disperse or dissolve in saliva without need of water for frequently release of drug for quick onset of action.
Mouth dissolving tablet disappears rapidly before
swallowing.
Disintegrates in less than 3 minute.
Also called as fast dissolving tablet, orodispersible tablet, melt
of solid preparation.
Improved bioavailability by pregastric absorption.
