Photo on both ancillaries works well as links them together Thank you message is an interesting idea Too bold on front cover and needs blending together more Good track list with the photograph of the trees creating shadows Diet mountain dew appears to be in a different font Lyrics are a good idea Like the brick wall image as down to earth for artist

Like the idea of using red for important information

Like the boldness but could make images bolder Track list is good but could put text down the middle

Photo looks stretched out on lyrics page

Person Four

Thank-you page good idea but unclear text

Good disc idea with a photo but text could be bolder

Person Five
Strong clear images on the front cover Text needs to be more interesting Black and white works well with red contrast

Summary of feedback

I received a mixture of different opinions and critics on my ancillary texts, and some even contrasted each other, such as person one liked the colour scheme of black and white with the red font as they felt the contrast worked well, however person 2 wasnt a fan of the red font, however more people liked the choice of red, so I feel it did work well, but could be a more interesting font

choice as this was mentioned to be unexciting. I found person 1s comment about the Born To Die font interesting as they felt it represented the military style font usually used in army action movies, and I didnt intend to do this, but it suits the title of the album as military is often linked to loss through death. From the feedback I received from students, I think the most popular page of my digipak is the back cover as I got positive responses from all people who mentioned it, as they felt the image worked well along with the track list. I did receive some constructive criticism from people to alter one of the songs on the track list to match the rest, and to change the position of the track list to the centre. The 'Thank You' page was seen as a good idea, although the text was not too clear for them to read and understand correctly, so I would need to alter the font, or perhaps change the writing to white as red can sometimes not be clear against a black background. The quality of my photographs was praised, however it was noted that they could be made more bold by adjusting the colour contrasts and brightness.
