Internet

Browser
A web browser is a software application for retrieving,

presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web.

Web Server
A web server is a computer program that delivers

(serves) content, such as web pages, using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), over the World Wide Web. The term web server can also refer to the computer running the program.

HTTP
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol.

A protocol used to request and transmit files,

especially web pages and web page components, over the internet or other computer network.

HTML
Hypertext Markup Language
It is the language in which web pages are written. It

allows the images to be combined with text and offers wide range of formatting capabilities. One of the most important features of HTML is hypertext, that allows web pages to be liked one to each other.

ISP
Internet Service Provider

Your ISP is the company you use to use the Internet.

ISPs offer different services, for instance, email, space to post web pages, a connection to browse the web, etc.

Technology has the potential to impact the world not

just at the individual level but also at the enterprise level.
