UET Alumni

91-Elect-Group Initiative

Mission Statement
UET Alumni mission is three folds: - Collaboration between UET, Other Academia and Industry
- Enabling access to top expertise within & outside Pakistan - Joint collaborative projects with immediate industry application, and potential technology spin offs

- Developing entrepreneurial spirit among new graduates - Raising financial contributions via a non profit independent body
Projects Endowment funding Research and technology funding Yearly budget Scholarships

Where Are We? - A common platform for engaging Alumni does not exist - Previous attempts to engage Alumni have not been successful - Alumni who have tried to engage UET have been given a cold shoulder - Due to lack of transparency in financial matters, Alumni are discouraged to give direct financial assistance - UET as an institution is severely lacking funds, and could eventually be privatized leading to an exorbitant fee structure that would fail to attract talent from all corners of Pakistan

91-Elect-Alumni Group 91-Elect-Alumni Group is uniquely positioned to address the challenges faced by UET Alumni at large: - The group has a diverse reach into Academia, Entrepreneurial world, Industry and R&D - The group has jointly agreed to channel efforts and energies to something meaningful with a desire and motivation to make a difference - The group members have a strong commitment and trust towards each other and have agreed to meet formally atleast once a year
