• Ayan is a 2009 blockbuster Tamil action thriller film co-written by K.V.Anand
and writers Subha and directed by K.V Anand. Ayan was released
worldwide on April 3, 2009. The film, starring Surya, Tamannah, Prabhu
and Akashdeep saighal in the lead roles, is produced by M. Saravana
and M.S Guhan, while distribution rights were sold to un Pictures in
January 2009. The film score was composed by Harris Jayaraj, the
soundtrack released on January 19, 2009. Edited byAnthony Gonsalvez,
the film was filmed by M. S. Prabhu.

• The film's story revolves around Deva, a youngster whose mother
anticipates him to become a government official, works for a smuggling
group run by Arumuga Dass who has been looking after him since
childhood. Conflict occurs when Deva's prime rival, Kamalesh opposes
and tries to eliminate Arumuga Dass from the smuggling business.

• The film was launched in Chennai in March 2008 and released on April 3,
2009 worldwide. It was also released in Telugu as Veedokkadeon May 1.
Filming had also taken place in various locations out of India, including
Namibia, Malaysia, Zanzibar and south Africa

My favourite clips are at the end of the

trailer where the actor Surya hits the

front car screen and smashes it and
then a jeep comes racing in and knocks
the blue gate. Then he runs and jump
to give a head butt and it is done in
slow motion and back to back so it a
jump cut. In between each of them it
shows that a Surya slap the villain, the
red car drives really fast, glass
smashes, he punches the villain in the
faces and l the lastly you see a hand
come in a opens a draw and you see a
black gun. That the end of the trailer

A tale of revenge, the story begins with Deva (Suriya) who is a


post graduate and unlike others trying for a government job,

he is busy working for Das (Prabhu) who is a smuggler. They
have a rival in the form of Kamalesh (Akashdeep) who does
not hesitate to go to any extent to make the duo's life
miserable. Meanwhile, Deva falls in love with Yamuna
(Tamannah), sister of Chitti (Jagan) who works for Das. The
story takes a turn when Deva is sent to Congo by Das to get
diamonds to India. Deva does the job successfully but then
Kamalesh decides to take it a serious way and he ends up
killing Das. Deva is enraged by this and he decides to put an
end to Kamalesh and his gang. What happens after that forms
the rest of the story.
