Ethics
Ethics comes from the ancient Greek language , which means that ethos: custom / custom, morals, character, feelings, attitudes, ways of thinking . According to Indonesian Dictionary (Poerwadarminta) ethics is "the science of the principles of morality (moral)" According to Drs. O.P. Simorangkir "ethics or ethics as a human in sight behave according to size and a good value" According Magnis Suseno, Ethics is a science and not a doctrine. Which gives us the norm of how we should live is morality"

Examples of ethics within everyday life:


1 . Honestly do not lie 2 . Adults do not act childish 3 . Gracefully in communicating 4 . Using call / term good person 5 . Using language that message effectively and efficiently 6 . Business Ethics
Business ethics is a specialized study of the moral right and wrong. This study concentrates on moral standards as applied in policies, institutions, and business conduct (Velasquez , 2005).

In creating business ethics, there are several things to consider


1. self-control 2. The development of social responsibility ( social responsibility) 3. Maintain identity and not easy to be swayed by the rapid development of information and technology 4. Create healthy competition 5. Applying the concept of "sustainable development"

There are 3 types of problems encountered in the Ethics


1 . systematic Systematic problems in business ethics ethical questions that arise about the economic system , political, legal, and social systems in which the business operates. 2 . corporation Problems in the company's corporate business questions in specific companies. These issues include the question of the morality of the activity, policy, practice and organizational structure of the company as a whole individual.

3 . individual Individual issues in business ethics are questions concerning specific individuals within the company . These include questions about the morality of decisions , actions and individual character .

In simple terms what is meant by business ethics are ways to perform business activities, which covers all aspects relating to individuals, companies, industries and communities All of this includes how we run our business fairly, in accordance with applicable law, and does not depend on the position of the individual or company in the community. Business ethics is broader than the provisions prescribed by law, is even higher standards than the minimum standards required by law, because the business activities often we find the gray areas that are not regulated by law.
