I BUILD

WALLS
I build walls
Walls that protect,
Walls that shield,
Walls that say I shall not yield or reveal
Who I am or how I feel

I build walls
Walls that hide
Walls that cover whats inside,
Walls that stare or smile or look away, silent lies,
Walls that even block my eyes from the tears I might have cried

I build walls
Walls that never let me truly touch
Those I love so very much
Walls that need to fall!
Walls meant to be fortresses are prisons after all

The biggest percentage is repetition aspect
(31.5%).
The writer chose some words (I, walls, and build)
to tell us that the writer needs to be alone
because of love or sadness
I = the writer often used it to make
stressed
Walls = to make it sure that he/she did it
Build = the writers doing

Even most of verb forms use verb present, but there is
something interesting in the end of poem WALLS
MEANT TO BE FORTRESSES ARE PRISONS AFTER
ALL
(the writer never makes walls. The writer wishes had
made walls, but the writer hadnt)
The writer has big problem which the write keeps it
secret, the writer doesnt want to share for someones
else
the writer prefers to build walls tahn to say what he/she
fells
Finally the writer doesnt make walls because of some
reasons which the writer felt before.
