Coffee or Just a cup of coffee means a plain cup of coffee
served with a side of sugar and milk.

If you dont know the answer to a question, do not say
I dont know. Tell the guest that you will find out!
If someone looks at the wine list or menu make sure
you tell them which wines we are out of before they
order.

Liqueurs are sweet drinks that normally
are served in small quantities
Cognac is from one region of France, it
is brown, old and expensive!
Whiskey can be from any country and is
brown in color

sweet alcohol
Gin is clear, usually comes from the
United Kingdom and is frequently mixed
with tonic or juice
Vodka is a clear alcohol made from
potatoes and is traditionally from Russia
Tequila is a brown alcohol made from
the agave cactus in Mexico
Types of Alcoholic Drinks
A cocktail or mixed drink is a drink that is a
combination of alcohol and something else, like
juice or soda
The martini is a traditional drink to order at a
hotel bar you frequently see this drink in movies
(such as 007 or old movies).
Alcohol served just over ice is called on the
rocks
Alcohol served without ice or anything else is
called neat.
