Transition Program
SPLM will provide supplier access to the predefined software packages at no charge
through October 31, 2013 to support existing GM programs
If it is determined that a supplier needs Tecnomatix licenses not included in the bundles,
SPLM will provide access to the software at no charge through October 31, 2013
GM and SPLM will jointly review license usage by October 1, 2013 to determine if any
changes are required to the bundles prior to November 1
st

This offer is valid for suppliers who sign this transition subscription contract by
June 30
th

Supplier agrees to purchase subscriptions required to support GM no later than
November 1, 2013
Quantity of software is limited to existing license usage. For any additional licenses
suppliers need to purchase license subscriptions according to the program
GM will define eligible suppliers for each subscription period. SPLM will work directly with
the supplier to determine quantity of software required
Software is limited to support GM programs only
Requires supplier to have a Master License Agreement (MLA) with SPLM (most suppliers
impacted by this program already have an MLA with SPLM)

Next Steps
Suppliers need to work with the Siemens PLM Account Representatives to
acquire licenses (based on existing usage) by June 18, 2013.
GM will stop the access to the GM License server for Suppliers by June 30
th
,
2013.
GM and SPLM will jointly review license usage by October 1, 2013 to
determine if any changes are required to the bundles.
Purchase Orders must be received by October 31, 2013.
Suppliers can also negotiate directly with Siemens for licenses that can be
used for work outside of GM
