A MIILION SMILES Film Festival envisions thought-provoking films that touch on the
human experience and how we use technology to advance human kind. We are
showcasing films that make us think about our futures not as one country, but as
one planet.
The festival encourages films with visual effects. Smaller budgeted films can
produce amazing things with the advances in motion graphics and visual effects
software programs. Independent filmmakers are independent thinkers with fresh
ideas and new ways of seeing the world. Without having a venue to showcase their
work, A MILLION SMILES Film Festival will establish and create a home for those
independent filmmakers.
As technology is ever-changing, our need as artists, filmmakers and human beings
to connect with each other in business and our personal lives is constantly growing
and evolving. R9 MEDIA looks to bring films to HYDERABAD from all over the
TELANGANA to celebrate social media and the art of filmmaking.

R9 MEDIA, as its name suggests, is all about educating people through
some form of entertainment. In this case, its all about educating people
about in all aspects but in an entertaining way. In essence, entertainment
education is a communication strategy for social change.

-Motivate society to expose social and environmental injustices by using short films.
- Create a specific platform for the launch and circulation of protest short films.
- Give voice to authors so they can expose the contents of their films.
- Strengthen the educational aspect through conferences, panel discussion and talks
- Promote a participatory atmosphere where everyone who wants to participate can
contribute their point of view.
- Using screenings and online dissemination techniques such as video and social
media networks in order to reach as many people as possible.
- Spread critical social and environmental documentary cinema throughout Catalonia
and the world.
- Awaken critical thinking of children through documentary films, movies and similar
activities.

A MILLON SMILES SHORT FILM FEST is designed to educate, inspire and
get awareness in younger generation and public of Andhra Pradesh and
telagana two states.
The topic which we have taken for short film competition is to generate
ideas from youth of two states and have attention on development of two
states to mlas and mps of two states who won in 2014 elections .

HOW: welcome entries from around the Two states of telugu people (Both
Telagana and Andhra Pradesh). (on our occasion of formation of two states we
screened more then 100 .short films from all over Andhra Pradesh and
telagana).
FILM DURATION:
In order to be selected in the short film competition, your film must be less
than 15 minutes long (including credits).Documentaries must be less then 30
minutes.
