Liceul Tehnologic Constantin
Cantacuzino Baicoi is the biggest
school in our town and includes all the
levels of education: primary,secondary
and lyceum.





1835-1836 - The first school of Bicoi - one of the 11 created in the
county Prahova
1876 - School for both boys and girls
1904 - Another mixt school in Tufeni
1921-1931 - Schools with industrial profile
1945-1948 - A branch of Barbu Stirbei High School Cmpina
1956 - 7 year School no. 1
1957 High School with evening classes only
1960 - The Baicoi High School (both day and evening classes)
- the inauguration of the building that is used even now
1973 - General School with 10 grades
1990 High School
Since 1999 the profiles were diversified according to the needs of
the local community (theoretical and economical profiles).

The high level(lyceum) of our school is
divided in two sections: both theoretical
and technological.
The theoretical section includes
mathematics, IT, nature sciences classes
and, also, philology classes.
The technology level includes economy
classes.
We have 344 studens

School programme
In Romania the school programme includes 35-36 weeks per
year.
There are 20-30 hours of different subjects in a week, depending
on the level of education.
At the primary level there are 20-25 hours per week and the
pupils are studying Romanian Language(5-7), English(1-2),
Mathematics(4-6), Nature Sciences(1), Arts(2) and Physical
Education(2).
At the secondary and high school upper levels there are 26-30
hours per week and the students are learning Romanian
Language(4), English(2) and French(2), Mathematics(4),
Sciences(2-6) , Informatics(1-4), History(1-2) , Geography(1-2),
Arts(2) ,Physical Education(1-2)and other subjects according to
the classes profile.
