I made special chrome-like highly reflective show cars for Motor
Shows. I also invented a simpler process for making a highly
reflective chrome-like conversion coating for which I have been
awarded a patent
I was made a leader of Fresh Eye team responsible for cost
reduction of the world famous TATA Nano carwhich has low cost
as the product signature. Some ideas have been filed for patents
I have created a world-class Learning Centre and a Teardown and
Benchmarking Facility at TATA Motors which are highly appreciated
by experts in the field.
Through innovative ideas I have reduced the costs of various
aggregates and components in millions of Rupees
I have presented a number of technical papers at various
conferences / seminars. One research authored by me was awarded
Second Best Paper award.
I was invited by Engel, Austriaworlds biggest injection moulding
machine manufacturersto Austria to give a keynote speech on
Innovation--Indian Approach through Minimalism

I am a writer, poet and graphic artist.
My Marathi novel Shadyantra was published in 1992 and was acclaimed as one of
the best books published in 1992. Another Marathi novel titled Iye Swapnanchiye
Nagari was published in October 2009.
My English novel Manipulations based Shadyantra on was published in Canada
and US in March 2002. Both the books have been acclaimed by critics. I have
several English novels and one Marathi novel in the pipeline.
I am regarded as a pioneer of sci-fi writing in Marathi
I have also written many articles, poetry, lyrics, short stories and plays in English and
Marathi
An album of Marathi love lyrics penned by me titled Othaat Dhund Madira has been
published recently. Music is composed by noted composer Sharad Karmarkar and
sung by famous singers Ravindra Sathe and Suvarna Mategaonkar.
A Songs and Recitation programme based on my lyrics has also been launched
recently.

invited by Engel, Austriaworlds largest injection moulding machine manufacturers to
talk on Indian Approach to Innovation through Minimalism in May 2009.

some Innovation Conferences and also panelist on discussion platforms.
