Who is this Tarky???

Well, maybe you have heard about
Tarky, on his real name Cristian
Spiridon, a controversial figure from
Oneti(Bacu).
Tarky is that kind of star who has
sprouted like mushrooms after rain if I
can say so, but just like the
mushrooms, he hadn't had a long life
in showbiz because he was not a real
talent.

As we heard in the previous video, he was preparing intensively for Eurovision
song contest 2009 because he had the feeling that he will win the preselection
for this contest and he will even reach the finals. Fortunately, he failed :D.

Analizing Tarkys English through his song, we

can clearly see that he is not a native English
speaker because he has a quite bad
pronunciation. He tends to pronounce a
romanian R inside and at the end of the
words or a native speaker doesnt do this
(specific allophones). Here we have the

mistakes:

I must admit that the first line is

uncertain for me. I don't understand
what he wants to say by Feeling so
lost, so down load, so down slow.
Another uncertain line is Give up the
tears you know I love so much. Who
or what does he love?

Body language and style of dress

Tarky has a specific style of dress:
cheap and tacky. When you see him
dressed like that, you can affirm one
thing about him: he's gay! Or if he's not
gay, he should definitely take some
lessons on how to dress if he wants to
assert in showbiz !
His body language betrays him he has
no stage presence and he is not a
"showman as he considers himself. His
mimic and his gestures and have
nothing in common with what he sings
and the way he dances makes him to
seem a desperate man.

Therefore
There is no forest without dryness
In our society we also have negative examples. These
non-values are always looking to stand out by their lack
of culture and by snobbery (in this case,Tarky is trying to
imitate Tarkan, an international celebrity). The popularity
of these overnight "celebrities" depends very much on
us. If we pay attention to them and promote them it is
normal for them to enjoy the "fame. Unfortunately,
people like Tarky have become famous due to the
excessive promotion of human stupidity.
