INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM (HRIS)

Definition HRIS
A data base system that contains all relevant
human resource information and provides
facilities for maintaining and accessing these
data.
An information system (IS) is any combination
of information technology and people's
activities using that technology to support
operations, management, and decisionmaking. Human resource is a term used to
describe the individuals who make up the
workforce of an organization.

A type of computer software program that
stores the program and historical data
necessary to generate reports that are
periodically requested.
Turnaround documents
Simple reports that shows the current data
values of an HRIS and provide a place to
indicate any changes.
