MATTHEW 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.
REJECTION OF THE EVERLASTING
GOSPEL: GOD’S WRATH
REVELATION 14:9, 1O
And the third angel followed them, saying with
a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and
his image, and receive [his] mark in his
forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of
the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured
out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented with
fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy
angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
GOD’S WRATH: WINE IN A CUP?
MATTHEW 26:38, 39, 42, 44
Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful,
even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he
went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed,
saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from
me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt]. He went
away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my
Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I
drink it, thy will be done. And he left them, and went away
again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
WHO GAVE JESUS THIS CUP?
HEBREWS 5:7
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered
up prayers and supplications with strong crying and
tears unto him that was able to save him from death,
and was heard in that he feared;...
LUKE 22:42, 44
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup
from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be
done. And being in an agony he prayed more
earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops
of blood falling down to the ground.
JOHN 18:11
Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into
the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given
me, shall I not drink it?
JESUS: OBEDIENT UNTO HIS FATHER
JOHN 8:29
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not
left me alone; for I do always those things that
please him.
PSALMS 22:1, 2
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
[why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from]
the words of my roaring? O my God, I cry in the
daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night
season, and am not silent.
MY, GOD, MY GOD,…A PROPHETIC
FULFILLMENT
ROMANS 8:32
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him
up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely
give us all things?
GALATIANS 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed
[is] every one that hangeth on a tree:
WAIT A MINUTE!
IF JESUS HAD NOT REJECTED HIS FATHER’S GOSPEL
MESSAGE, THEN WHY SHOULD HE BE MADE TO DRINK
THE CUP (WRATH OF GOD) WHICH A DISOBEDIENT
PERSON SHOULD HAVE DRUNK?
2 CORINTHIANS 5:21
For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL:
MESSAGE OF FORGIVENESS
ISAIAH 53:4-6
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our
sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of
God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our
transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep
have gone astray; we have turned every one to his
own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all.
ROMANS 6:23
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God
[is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
WHAT IS FORGIVENESS?
JOHN 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 JOHN 2:2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for
ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
