Offensive Philosophy
Two ways to distort the defense
Horizontally
By formation, spread offense

Vertically
Knock a hole in it with double team blocks.
No schematic answers to getting butt kicked.
Creates vertical running lanes and cutback
opportunities.
Prepares our defense to be physical in nature
Brady Hoke.

Offensive Philosophy
Execute the offense better than the opposition
can defend it.
Execution vs. Plays
Block the play vs. any defensive look.
This philosophy determines our teaching
progressions and our practice plans by position.

Offensive Philosophy
- Bill Mallory and IU Staff, Russ Isaacs.
Running Game:
Run the ball strong/weak, A C gaps, perimeter, option, 1
RB, 2 RB, Under center, Pistol.
Get as many blocker to the point of attack.
Eliminate tendencies

3 Step Passing Game.
Screens
Drop Back Passing Game.

Running Game
Gap Power Schemes
Under sized linemen can execute double
team blocks.
We will always have a good RB to dot the
