This app explains and demonstrates over 5,200 signs and expressions used in ASL.
This is helpful in a classroom setting because students can use the demonstrations
as a study guide to check their signing techniques and accuracy, it also has the
ability to use a repeat and slow mode for detailed memorization .

Once you click on this app you will go into the vocabulary page, words and phrases
will be listed in alphabetical order. Next click on the word you want and a video will
pop up with a person who demonstrates the correct sign for the word your wanting.
I like that it shows some of the different ways a word can be signed, but I wish the
app also had phrases and sayings, as well as, the word vocabulary, because those
are the things most often mis-signed.
This app would work for students of all ages with the ability of visual learning.
ASL Dictionary is free, but more in detailed apps can be found ranging from $4.99
and up, still this app is more than sufficient for a high school level learning.

Dragon Box Algebra

This is a game that uses pictures in the place

of algebraic exponents. The students see it as a
picture puzzle but it is teaching them to balance
each side of the expression. Starting off slow and
using pictures, this app builds the student up to
using true algebraic exponents and eventually
whole algebra expressions.

There is no cost as far as signing up. However, the

school must be able to supply the resources for all the
students in order for this to work successfully.

I like the fact that its easy to use both for the teacher
and the students. I truly believe that its a great
learning tool for kids. However, with something great
there is a downfall. Just like with any internet based
class you must always have great reception. If your
reception goes down, so does your internet.
