How to Do the Teen Driving Project


Part 1
1. Select an Topic (Road Rage, Teen Crashes, Drunk Driving, Cell Phones and Driving)
2. Define the Issue in Terms of Teen Driving
3. Complete Research to Explain What the Problem Is. Use statistics or data to back up
your opinion.
4. Answer the following questions.
-How is the Problem Being Addressed?
-What Groups are Addressing the Problem?
-What are some Programs and Initiatives Working to Solve or Curb this Problem
(name at least 2)?
How Should I Show My Understanding?
In a written format. Please use complete sentences. You may choose to display the
data you collect in a bar graph, pie graph, or chart. Be sure to cite your information
by showing where you obtained your data or statistics

-A PowerPoint presentation, or another presentation program you know how to use.

-The Module 3 Discussion Based Assessment (DBA) Is No Longer A Requirement. All You Need To Do For the
Assessment is Submit the Last 4 Numbers of Your Social Security Number
Module 8 (Two Options to Complete, Please Choose Whatever Option is Best For You)

1. Write a Paragraph Response for Each of the Following Questions.
-In your opinion , what do you think is the leading cause of accidents for teenage drivers?
-What is the most useful thing you have learned in the course.
2. Submit these responses in the Student Comments box for the Module 8 DBA assignment along with your
level of understanding on a 1-4 scale (4 the most and 1 the least) of how well you understand everything you
have learned in the course.
