SCRIPTURE
FIRST READING
Isaiah 44:21-28

2/8/2015

Isaiah 44: 21-28

Remember these things, Jacob,

for you, Israel, are my servant.
I have made you, you are my servant;
Israel, I will not forget you.
22
I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,for I have redeemed you.
23
Sing for joy, you heavens, for the LORD has
done this; shout aloud, you earth beneath.
Burst into song, you mountains,
you forests and all your trees,
for the LORD has redeemed Jacob,
he displays his glory in Israel.

Isaiah 44: 21-28

Jerusalem to Be Inhabited
24
This is what the LORD says
your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb:
I am the LORD,
the Maker of all things,
who stretches out the heavens,
who spreads out the earth by myself,
25
who foils the signs of false prophets
and makes fools of diviners,
who overthrows the learning of the wise
and turns it into nonsense,

2 of 3

2/8/2015

Isaiah 44: 21-28

who carries out the words of his servants and

fulfills the predictions of his messengers, who
says of Jerusalem, It shall be inhabited, of the
towns of Judah, They shall be built, and of their
ruins, I will restore them,
27
who says to the watery deep, Be dry, and I will
dry up your streams,
28
who says of Cyrus, He is my shepherd and will
accomplish all that I please; he will say of
Jerusalem, Let it be rebuilt, and of the temple,
Let its foundations be laid.

The Lords Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation.
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom, the power,
and the glory,
Forever and ever.
Amen.

ITS YOUR BLOOD

Its Your blood that cleanses me,
Its Your blood that gives me life,
Its Your blood that took my place
In redeeming sacrifice,
And washes me..
whiter than the snow, than the snow,
My Jesus, Gods precious sacrifice.

I Love To Tell The Story

(334)

I love to tell the story

Of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory,
Of Jesus and His love;
I love to tell the story
Because I know tis true,
It satisfies my longings
As nothing else can do.
I love to tell the story!
Twill be my theme in gloryTo tell the old, old story
Of Jesus and His love.

1 of 3

I love to tell the story

Tis pleasant to repeat
What seems, each time I tell it,
More wonderfully sweet;
I love to tell the story,
For some have never heard
The message of salvation
From Gods own holy Word
I love to tell the story!
Twill be my theme in gloryTo tell the old, old story
Of Jesus and His love.
2

of 3

I love to tell the story,

For those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting
To hear it like the rest;
And when in scenes of glory
I sing the new, new song,
Twill be the old, old story
That I have loved so long.
I love to tell the story!
Twill be my theme in gloryTo tell the old, old story
Of Jesus and His love.
