and at the same time it does buy power from other
municipalities on short term contracts as per the demand:

five customers to FPL:
The Florida Keys Electric Cooperative;
City of Key West; - contract expired in 2013
Metro-Dade County; - contract expired in 2013
Lee County Electric Cooperative; and
Wauchula.
