carried out in INFINITES HR SERVICES, Pune.


b) The Project mainly had the scope in Recruitment.

OBJECTIVES

1) To Study the concept of Recruitment in depth by

understanding the recruitment process of Infosys


BPO, Mphasis ITO, WNS BPO and Principal
Finance.
2) To Recruit the candidates for Infosys BPO, Mphasis

ITO, WNS BPO and Principal Finance.


3) To study the importance of 3rd Party Recruiter with

special reference to Infinites HR Services.

Review Of Literature
1) Recruitment has been regarded as the most

important function of the HR department.


2) Recruitment is Placing the RIGHT PERSON in RIGHT

PLACE at RIGHT TIME.


3) Recruitment is the process of searching for

prospective employees and stimulating them to


apply for the jobs in the organization.

Research Methodology
1) Primary Data: Structured Interview method was adopted

for primary data collection.

17 HR people were interviewed from client side.


Their response was recorded.
Sampling method is convenience sampling.

Secondary Data: This was collected from Internet,


company websites, books, etc.

Data analysis is done with the help of pie diagram.

Observation
1) Most of the BPO companies prefer Placement Consultancies for

the Employee hiring.


2) Sometimes it is observed that there is no proper link between

the Infinites HR and the client company.


3) Infosys and WNS has a huge International BPO so requires a

large no. of employees. They have their own method of


recruitment for those applying for the job.
4) Mphasis Provides job in ITO. The Recruitment process of

Mphasis is very lengthy. It requires employees having excellent


communication skills. Infinites HR sometimes does not provide
the client with good employees.
5) Principal Finance mostly hires employees having strong finance

background.

Findings
1) Some employees of Infinites HR do not have the

knowledge of recruitment process.


2) There should be a proper link between the

company and Infinites HR regarding the job


openings.
3) Infosys and WNS use 3 months cooling period in

recruitment process.
4) More time is spent on recruiting candidates for

Mphasis ITO.
5) Sometimes Infinites HR struggles to provide an

Suggestions
1) The Employees of Placement Consultancies should have

adequate knowledge of Recruitment Process.


2) There should be a proper link between the company and Infinites

HR regarding the openings.


3) The candidates should be given ample opportunities and training

to improve their chances of getting selected.


4) During recruitment for Mphasis ITO, Infinites HR should search

candidates having excellent communication skill.

Infinites HR should provide the clients with the best employees


available.

The client company should encourage Infinites HR for the


better results.

Conclusion
After successful completion of the project:
1. I now understand the whole Recruitment

process completely.
2. During the internship, I personally conducted

Interviews of the candidates.


3. Placement consultancies play important role

in Recruitment Process.
