function
Definition:
The relationship between two real variables say x and y which are so
related that corresponding to every value a of x defined as the domain ,
we get a finite value b of y defined as the range then y is said to be the
function of x.
y=f(x)
function
Types of function :
1.One valued function
2.Explicit FunctioN
3.Algebraic and Transcendental Function
4.Rational and Irrational Functions
5.Monotone function
6.Even and odd function
7.Continuous
and discontinuous function
Function
The limit of a function :
x approaches 3 from right hand side of the number line, f(x) decreases
and becomes close to 6
Continuity of a function :
A function f(x) is said to be continuous at x=a, if corresponding to any
arbitrarily assigned positive number, however small there exists a positive
number. assigned positive number, however small there exists a positive
number.
COORDINATE GEOMETRY
Coordinate Geometry is that branch of geometry in
which two real numbers called coordinate, are used
to indicate the position of a point in a place.
The two directed lines, when they intersect at right
angles at the point of origin, divide their plane into
four parts namely XOY, XOY, XOY and XOY.
A directed line can be horizontal n0rmally indicated
by X OX axis and vertical indicated normally by YOY
axis.
