1. Page Settings

Set the slide size to A4 Paper (210 x 297


mm). Set the width to 27.51cm and the
height to 19.05cm.

2. Color

Decide the colors used on the slides as theme


colors and unify the rules for colors in the
entire document.

4. Grid and Guides

Use the Grid and Guides to align elements on


the slide and determine margin positioning.

5. Guide Position

Set the guide so you can see the border of the


header and footer, the center of the slide, and
guidelines dividing the slide in thirds.

Dividing the image in thirds is also a technique used
when composing photographs (for deciding the
placement of the subject).

6. Text (Body)

Set the font size to 24pt. Use the achromatic


color from the theme colors for the text color.
Set the line spacing to 1.2-1.4lines, spacing
before paragraphs to 0pt, and spacing after
paragraphs to 6-12pt. Set the text alignment
to Left in principle.

7. Headings

Set the font size to 36pt. Use the main color


from the theme colors for the text color. Set the
line spacing to 1.2-1.4lines, spacing after
paragraphs to 12-18pt, and spacing before
paragraphs to 24pt or more. Set the text
alignment to Left.

8. Bullet Lists

Use the Bullets and Numbering feature for


bullet lists. Set the line spacing to 1.0-1.4
lines, spacing before paragraph to 0pt, and
spacing after paragraph to 6-12pt.
