Simple Things To Do
Turn off your computer or the TV
when you’re not using it.

Take shorter showers. Heating water uses energy.

Keep rooms cool by closing the blinds, shades, or


curtains.

Turn off the lights when you leave a room.

Use compact fluorescent bulbs.

Background:

Many people around the world are facing and has been the impact of climate change. If we do not act now. There is a
high possibility that the collapse of the climate completely (Runaway Climate Change) and the effect will happen
to others. Food security and ecosystem of the world is destroyed.
The importance of the issue of climate change. The urgency that all sectors must work together to make
every party is aware of this problem. And change the attitudes and behavior, especially children and youth. This
will be directly affected by the impact of climate change. In the future, whether as a subject.  Natural disasters
that have increased the frequency and severity. Food security has happened and are more intense.

World Scout Activity Award (The Scouts of the World Award: SWA) is an activity-oriented groups as the Rover
Scouts aged 16-25 years had the opportunity for social activities as motto "service" of the Rover Scout due to the
purpose of training them to learn to share. And do activities to help or participate in solving global
problems. Environmental development, and peace. Considering to the confidential of the youth power to create a
better world , meanwhile, their brain and body can be used in the correct efficiently way. This principle is going
in the same way of Solar generation youth club, Greenpeace who recognizes the importance of creating
awareness to the youth and give them an opportunity to learn about the natural conditions. And start to act by
themselves As well as to provide the youth feel part of society to live. As saying. "Society does not sell well. I
have to co-create. "
