Mariam Abu Rakeek

The story of Mariam Abu Rakeek, founder of Desert Daughter, is unique. Born into a
traditional Bedouin family with a long history of healing and knowledge of desert plant
and their uses, she was attracted to the world of medicinal plants. She used to wander in
the desert picking plants with healing properties to bring back to her grandmother. While
studying in England, she noticed a growing awareness of the importance of natural
healing. At the same time, back home, she saw how her own community left behind their
natural lifestyle. And lost their holistic views of the world. Returning home after her
studies she decided to take up her ancestors traditions and combined this with formal
learning in medicinal herbs at a local college and developed a small business. This, not
only for self fulfillment, but for the honorable purpose of preserving the environment and
maintaining old traditions.

The company uses natural products with high percentage of active

natural ingredients.
As a result, the treatment products provide efficient solutions for

Milk

The Camels milk is known for its wonderful qualities and unique
