INTRODUCTION
THE TECNICQUE OF CT-SCAN EXAMINITION OF
PARANASAL SINUSES WITH PARASINUSITIS CASES AT
INSTALLATION OF RADIOLOGY DR. SARDJITO GENERAL
HOSPITAL YOGYAKARTA. It has been done a research about
CT-scan examinination technique of paranasal sinus with
pansinusitis cases in the installation of Radiology dr. Sardjito
General Hospital Yogyakarta. With the aims to explain the
examination procedure of CT Scan with pansinusitis case, reason
using scanning technique.

ON
Based on the researchers observation during the period of
clinical practices III, there is a difference in the examination technic
of paranasal sinuses in the patient with pansinusitis cases, between
theory and practice. CT-scan examination technique of paranasal
sinus with pansinusitis cases in the installation of Radiology.
Therefore, researcher intends to study CT-Scan examination
procedure of paranasal sinuses with above background and wishes
to research it in a proposal final project with title THE TECNICQUE
OF CT-SCAN EXAMINITION OF PARANASAL SINUSES WITH
PARASINUSITIS AT INSTALLATION OF RADIOLOGY DR.
SARDJITO GENERAL HOSPITAL YOGYAKARTA.

1. SUBJECTS AND METHODS

The subjects of this research are three radiographers that have

competency in CT Scan, two radiologists and dr.THT (ear, nose,
and larynx) that responsible for interpret radiographic of CT Scan
at Radiology dr. Sardjito Genreal Hospital Yogyakarta.

2. SAMPLE

Sample of this research is qualitative with case study approach.

3. PERIOD OF RESEARCH

Data were collected from July 2009 to September 2009

4. LOCATION OF RESEARCH

Location of research in the installation of Radiology dr. Sardjito

General Hospital Yogyakarta.

5. PROCEDURE
a. Data Collection
Data were collected by using the following methods:
1) observation
Researcher directly observated and participated in CT Scan
examination technique of paranasal sinuses with pansinusitis.
2) Indepth Interview
Researcher interviewid three radiographers and two radiologist
and dr. THT (ear, nose,larynx) to obtain research.
3) Documentation
Researcher observed data from documenting result of expertise
and radiograpgic medical from indicated to CT Scan examination
technicque of pansinusitis.

This research used some instrument in collecting data they
were:
1)Observation

3)Digital camera, tape recorder, and write tools

6. DATA ANALYSIS
Researcher observed directly in CT Scan examination
tecnique of paranasal sinuses with pansinusitis in the intalation
of Radiology dr. Sardjito General Hospital Yogyakarta.
Then, researcher collected data and documents radiograph in
paranasal sinuses CT Scan examination and data are recuded in
order to be obstained data categories, after that, the data being
processed with an coding grapic, the data can be performed with
quotation such as result at interview and argument from
respondents so can take the condusions and suggestions.
