Another Hindu priest hacked with sharp

weapons in Satkhira
Satkhira:: A Hindu priest has been attacked inside a temple in the
southern district of Satkhira.This incident took place within 24 hours of
another murder of a Hindu priest, Shyamananda Das, in a neighbouring
district of Jhinaidah.

Police said that unknown assailants armed with sharp weapons hacked
Bhabashindhu Bar, who served a temple at a village near the coastal
district town.He was attacked around 4am on Saturday, Satkhira police
OC Emdadul Haque Sheikh told.

He said that the assailants entered the temple after they tied up two local
security guards posted in the area.
The attackers left thinking Bhabashindu was dead. Locals, alerted by the
two guards, rushed him to the hospital in critical condition, said OC
Sheikh.
