widespread practical,
technological, and decorative
usage.
Glass is a material, used in
several architectural areas.
There are wide range of glass
available in the market which
comes in various sizes,
shape and colour.

FLOAT GLASS
Float glassis a sheet
ofglassmade byfloating
moltenglasson a bed of
molten metal.
It has a wide range of uses in
the industries as well as
construction business.

FIGURED GLASS
It is a type of plate or sheet
glass having a pattern rolled
onto one side of the surface.
These are patterned glass
majorly used for decoration.

LAMINATED GLASS

Laminated glass is a type of

safety glass that holds together
when shattered.

TOUGHENED GLASS
Toughened or tempered glass is
glass that has been processed by
controlled thermal or chemical
treatments.

STAINED GLASS
As a material the term
stained glass generally refers
to glass that has been
coloured by adding metallic
salts during its manufacture.
The term stained glass is
also applied to windows in
which all the colours have
been painted onto the glass
and then annealed in a
furnace.

LAQUERED GLASS
These are special type of
float glass with coloured
base.

MIRRORS
A mirror is an object with a
surface that has good
specular reflection; that is, it
is smooth enough to form an
image.
Mirrors are most commonly
used for personal grooming,
decoration, and architecture.

MARKET SURVEY
Figured Glass(Pinhead) ranges from 25-200 per sq. feet.
Lacquered glass starts from 350 per sq. feet.
Float Glass ranges from 20-350 per sq. feet.
Mirrors are available in different thickness, whose cost vary
accordingly. Most common is the 5 mm thick mirror starting from
50 per sq. feet.
The designing of glass costs between 200- 2000 per sq. feet.
