INTRODUCTION
In this design I considered on how I would
transplant the process that includes the
principles of learning and instructions that will
consider the material used in different
activities.
ANALYSES
• LEARNING AREA : LIFE SCIENCES
• GRADE : 12
• DURATION : THREE WEEKS
• KNOWLEDGE AREA : STRUCTURE ,CONTROL AND PROCESS IN BASIC LIFE SYSTEMS
• TOPIC : HUMAN REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS
• PRIOR KNOWLEDGE : The copying of the DNA, meiosis and mitosis during either asexual or sexual
reproduction
• EXISTNG KNOWLEDGE : - Male and female reproductive parts

• - Hormonal control in the reproduction system

• -Diseases involved in the reproductive organs .
• -Sequences of the menstrual cycle.
• LEARNING OUTCOMES : - Inquiring and problem solving skills
• -Application of life science knowledge
• -The environment and society
DESIGN

• The translation of outcomes

• BRAIN STORMING: The formation of offspring or an organism.
• (e.g.) question. “What comes first between an egg and a
chicken?”
• The involvement of the male and female organs results in the
formation of an offspring or organism.
• Learning Activities:
• Brainstorming on the collection of information or pictures
relating to human reproduction systems by learners
• Identification of the male and female parts from a given
worksheet.
• Interpreting the knowledge from the graph (e.g. exercise on
worksheet)
Methodology:

• Monitoring
• Facilitating
• Questions and answers
• Watching videos
• Applying knowledge
• Searching for relevant resources
• Collection of information, pictures etc. related to reproductive
system.
•

IMPLIMENTATION AND
EVALUATION
Oral questioning
Rubric
Memorandum
Learner control
motivation
FACTOR DECISION
• Oral questions: e.g.
• Which of the pictures are irrelevant as pertaining to the
concept of human reproductive system.
• Rubric: e.g. on identification of male or female parts
• Memorandum: e.g. on interpretation of knowledge based on
graph.
• Learner control: e.g. Peer assessment by a check list on the
video show.
• Motivation: e.g. Facilitation motivates learners to take
decision that will show a respect to their bodies not to indulge
on unprotected sexual intercourse.
•
• In this design considered how I could transplant the process
that include the principles of learning and instructions that
will consider the material used in different activities.
