Conclusion

Measuring of height :
standing; b sitting.

Having a knowledge about body length

in two positions we can found the
coefficient of proportionality /P/ :

P = ( L1-L2 ) / L2 100 ,

L1 body length in the standing position

, L2 body length in the sitting position

Normal meaning of KP = 87-92% .

KP is important at sports occupation .
Persons with low P at equal other
conditions,have low disposition of
gravity centre,that give them the
advantage at executing of
exercises,which require of body balance
in the space ( mountain ski, skijumping ,wrestling, weight lift athletics
). On the contrary, persons with the high
meaning of P are better in jumping ,
running. The meaning of P for
women is rather less than for men.

Measuring of chest circumference

Chest circumference ( C. C. ) is measured in

condition of maximal inspiration , complete
expiration and during pause. Difference between C.
C. after maximal inspiration and maximal expiration
indicate on the degree of chest mobility (chest
excursion) . Its in average 4-5 cm for men and 4- 7
cm for women. The sportsmen, especially the
swimmers , may have chest excursion 10-14 cm and
chest excursion may be decrease to 2-1 and even to 0
cm for sick persons .

Measuring of chest circumference .

Circumference of chest is
measured in condition of
maximal inspiration , complete
expiration, and during pause.
Difference between this sizes
indicates on the degree of
chests mobility ( excursion,
amplitude ). It consist 45 cm
for men and 4 7 cm for women.
The sportsmen,especially the
swimmers , may have the chest
excursion 10 14 m and C.E.
may be decrease to 2 1 cm,
sometime 0, for sick persons.

Estimation of physical development

( the methods of indexes ):

Body mass ( for adult ) we

can find after formula of
Berngard :
Body mass = ( Height
(Volume of chest ) / 240

Index of Gabs
= 56 + 4/5 (L - 150),

body mass ( kg ), L
height ( cm ) .

deal body mass () we can

calculate after formula of
Lourence:
= - [100 - ( - 150) / 4],
height (cm ).

Index of Kettle:
/ L (g/m);
body mass (gr ), L height ( cm )
for men - 370...400 ,
for women - 325...375 .

Physical development :Indexes of

proportionality :

Index of Manuvrie - ratio of legs length to

trunks length ( % ):
(L standing / L sitting - 1) * 100
( Normal meaning - 87...92 % ),
at less meaning - the relative short legs, at
larger the relative long legs

Index of Pine :
L - (P + T),
body mass ( kg ) , L height ( cm ),
circumference of chest after expiration ( cm ).

10 strong body- building,

11...15 - good,
16...20 - average,
21...25 -weak ,
26 and more very weak .

Proportions for separate body parts,

which are having a strong character for
proportional development persons

Chest circumference : pelvis circumference

(C.) =10:9
Neck C.=38% of Chest C., or 2/3 Hip C. ,or
biceps C.
Before-arm C. = 36% of Chest C.
Waist C. = 75% of Chest C.
Hip C. = 60% of Pelvis C.
Shin C. = 40% of Pelvis C.
According to Greek canons neck c.,
shin c., and biceps c. are approximately
equall.
