Definicin BULIMIA NERVIOSA

Enfermedad psiquitrica GRAVE MORTAL TCA.
Trastorno caracterizado por la presencia de una prdida deliberada
de peso, inducida y mantenida por el mismo enfermo (Clasificacin
Internacional de las enfermedades, 1992).

criterios diagnsticos
1. Episodios recurrentes de atracones.
2. Comportamiento recurrente e inapropiado compensatorio para prevenir
la ganancia ponderal, como vmitos auto inducidos, uso de laxantes,
diurticos, ayuno o ejercicio excesivo.
3. Los atracones y comportamientos compensatorios ocurren al menos dos
veces a la semana durante 3 meses.
4. La autoevaluacin esta indebidamente influenciada por el peso corporal.
5. Las alteraciones descritas no ocurren exclusivamente durante episodios
o fases de la AN.
