HAVING A HEALTHY WORKPLACE

Keep an eye out for employees getting burned out.
Give longer lunch breaks to allow employees to have the opportunity to be physically active.
Hold each other accountable
Have work challenges based on healthy eating and being active.
Have walking meetings. Where you and your co-workers find yourselves out side walking and
playing off of each others ideas. This can allow better blood flow to the brain due to
engaging in physical activity.
Start a healthy breakfast club. Get rid of those heavenly doughnuts and have a fruit salad
packed with great nutrients to empower you to get through the day.

Safety issues need to be considered while planning a teaching

space for children with an intellectual impairment. Sharp scissors,
knives, etc. must be kept out of reach. Harmful liquids like cleaning
liquids must also be kept away. Medicines must be kept
out of reach. In addition to this, make sure that none of the
children can lock themselves up in any room. Small beads or other toy
parts that the children could put in their mouth must be kept away if a
child has a tendency to do that. If the child has seizures, you may need
to look at padding the corners of furniture to avoid injury.

MODIFICATIONS
Have place for those that do better in a quiet place. This will allow them to feel
comfortable and get the job done. Also it eliminates any distraction that might
arise.
Maybe they need a larger desk for their wheel chair.
Sometimes hands on work is easier for others to understand because it is
also a visual understanding,
Technology is a great way for some people to achieve their work goals.
Maybe they are unable to type due to cerebral palsy.
