The police system is the roots and causes
The negligence of inspecting each officers uses of force
No clear policies on using force
Lack of education on humanities

Authoritative = I can do whatever I want

Dont face disciplinary threats
Despite the media attention, police brutality is still ongoing

Establish more disciplined and specific rules on violence
Practice a more hands-on approach
Supplement with humanities courses

WHAT IS PROJECT 80?

A VR (Virtual Reality) simulation to develop sympathy for at risk
neighborhoods/different ethnic backgrounds to use in police academy
Goal?
To decrease police brutality and better the image of the police system
