WHAT IS AN ADJECTIVE?

An adjective is a word that describes/modifies a noun or pronoun


EXAMPLES:

A big, red ball

The cute, huggable puppy


The tall, green tree
His huge, sharp teeth

WHAT IS AN ADVERB?
Adverbs describe/modify verbs.
EXAMPLES:

Jose was quietly going out the door.


Glendale was torn down slowly.
Tony spoke slowly.
Katie jumped high.
