• Our HSE goals are continually monitored and reviewed annually and are
communicated via WG Group HSE Plan.

These are applied across the Group through locally adapted policies, procedures
and management systems. HSE performance is also a key area of focus for our
customers and our improvement initiatives are often implemented in conjunction
with them - many of our principal contracts contain HSE goals as part of
performance and reward mechanisms. Our 2009 HSE Plan is:

• Health
• Continue to improve the quality of occupational health management by:
• Controlling more effectively the health risks arising from our activities
• Promoting the benefit of healthy lifestyles for our employees via campaigns and
health fairs

• Safety
• Reduce the number of injuries occurring across our business by:
• Using leading indicators to measure proactive performance
• Ensuring our personnel are properly inducted and trained
• Ensuring proper security and emergency response plans are in place and tested
• Combating complacency in routine activities by refresher campaigns on recurring
black spots such as:
– manual handling
– driving

• Maintaining a focus on high risk areas such as:
– pressure equipment
– electrical safety
– lifting operations
• Improving Asset Integrity and Process Safety to
mitigate the major hazards in each of our
businesses

• Environment
Continue to improve environmental management by:
• Encouraging the use of management systems
aligned to ISO 14001
• Reporting on appropriate environmental indicators
• Evaluating work practices and processes that could
adversely affect the environment
• Managing waste more efficiently
• Piloting carbon footprint measurement and
reduction initiatives

Process Engineering
• implemented at all levels of design – conceptual, FEED
and detailed design, to ensure that oil and gas
equipment and systems are fit for purpose in terms of
design, materials of construction, operability,
availability, layout, etc.

• understanding of all process fluid characteristics such as

pressures, temperatures, volumes, pH, velocities,
corrosion rates, acid gas contents, water content etc.,
together with their interaction with plant equipment is
an imperative.

• To check the validity of this complex combination

comprehensive reviews and recommendations of
P&ID’s and UFD’s, MSG’s and MSD’s (Process and
Instrument Diagrams, Utility Flow Diagrams, Materials
Selection Guides, Materials Selection Diagrams) are
carried out.

• COMPETENCE
Base
I.-Sand Face Completion. To select and design the
optimum drainhole and sandface configuration for a
production or injection well by taking into consideration
reservoir characteristics, geology and reservoir fluid
content in order to optimize well performance over its life
cycle to maximize Ultimate Recovery and NPV.

Awareness
1. Having knowledge on the different elements in a well
completion design.
2. Having realisation in which information is required to
design a well completion and which tools to be used.
3. Able to recognize what geological and petrophysical
parameters affect successful completion design.
4. Able to differentiate what are the challenges in
designing for unconsolidated formations, thinly bedded
reservoirs, tight sands, and fractured carbonates.
12/07/2021 virleenda_ui tekim 2008 14
• Knowledge
1. Able to stablish the data needed for a well completion design.
2. Able to select suitable techniques to simulate the flow performance of a
production/injection well and define the appropriate wellbore configuration.

3. Able to integrate and relate respective completion component (liners,

packers, seals, production equipment, etc) of the completion system and
justify for selecting a final design configuration.

Skill Level
1. Has conducted sensitivity analysis on well flow model to define optimal
perforation strategies and tubular sizes.
2. Being involved in designing well and sand face completion systems
including tubulars, equipment and accessories (sizes, connections,
specifications, requirements, etc.) using nodal analysis, stress analysis and
rock mechanical properties analysis.
3. Able to make sound recommendations in well design for controlling
borehole instabilities, corrosion problems and sand production.
4. Has been involved in supervising the installation completion equipment
and validating such installations.

Advanced Level
1 Leads and mentors teams in designing completion systems for new fields,
and upgrading those in mature fields using cost-risk-benefit analysis tools.
2. Teach others how to design a suitable completion system matching with
field parameters
12/07/2021 virleenda_ui tekim 2008 15
3. Provide guidance in developing assessment criteria for selection of
production engineering itu adalah sub surface up to surface.

sub surface  reservoir, near well bore, ampe ke

well , harus tau semua..

surface  harus bisa menguasai, masalah sand

problem di surface juga, valve, compressor, separator dan
juga flowline dan itu semua bisa di gabungkan ke network
modeling and simulation ..kerennya.. network modeling
optimization.
