COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, students would be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of:
1.

financial markets and evaluation of a firms financial performance.

2.

time value of money.

3.

capital budgeting, both under conditions of certainty and risk.

4.

asset valuation, particularly as it pertains to bonds and common stock.

5.

cost of capital and capital structure.
