Raising awareness of theAIDS
pandemiccaused by the spread of
HIVinfection and mourning those who
have died of the disease, Government,
health officials, non-governmental
organizations and individuals around the
world spread education on AIDS
prevention and control, observe World
AIDS DAY on 1st December every year so
that with the awareness they can fight
the disease and minimize the spread of
this deadly disease.

It is important to arouse the youth of today
with more of knowledge so that the they may
pass the message with more strength and
vigor to more people in the society. The take
active role in clearing misconception and be
make people aware what they ignore.
Thus, Govt. College of Education, Jammu with
a very committed team of youth volunteer
under the banner of RED RIBBON CLUB and
collaboration of J & K HIV/AIDS PREVENTION
AND CONTROL SOCIETY under take programs
for public health campaign with special
highlight on HIV /AIDS awareness.
