Using the right colour and font is an

This would be an inappropriate font style to
use as I am creating a rock magazine. In a
stereotypical rock magazine this style of
font wouldnt be used; this type of font
would be used on a wedding invitation or a
certificate. Moreover, this style is difficult

to read and would be very hard for people
to see what it says from a distance.

This style of font is appropriate to

use for the masthead of my
magazine as it is clear to read from
a distance. Additionally, as I am
creating a rock magazine this font
would be perfect to use as it is bold
and stands out.

Size of the font.

When creating a magazine the font

size should be big as it attracts the
target audience to the magazine and
people can clearly see which
magazine it is. If the font size isn't
big enough people wont be able to
read the content inside the magazine
and therefore may not purchase the
magazine again.
Colour

Using certain colours can

show the genre and target
audience of a magazine,
this is why it is so
important to chose the
right colours. As I am
creating a rock magazine,
I am less likely to use
bright colours such as
pink, yellow and green. If I
were to use these colours
it would give the audience
the wrong idea of the
magazine I am making.
