INTRODUCTION
Significance to the industry:-
IRDA plays a very drastic role in the insurance industry. IRDA
regulates all the insurance companies.

Significance to the employees:-


Employees of the company will know about area where they
have to work on to satisfy more and more customers and also
to attract them towards insurance.

Significance to the researcher:-


To get better knowledge about the insurance market by going
through a number of people. To know the investors behaviour
while purchasing the insurance plan.
INTRODUCTION
Objectives of the study:-
Proper understanding and analysis of insurance industry.

To know Investors Behaviour regarding IDBI Federal Life Insurance.

To find Investors perception.

To find media effectiveness to make people aware.

By conducting market survey on selected sample from population and


derived opinion on that research.

According market survey, come to know about how much potential of


insurance market in Kanpur city and by analyzing result, make a
report on that research.

By competitive analysis, we come to know peoples interest in IDBI


Federal Life Insurance.

Sampling Method Used:-Simple Random Sampling

Sampling on purpose: Based on the demographic variables

Sample size:- 60 respondents

Sample Unit:-the units of respondents are selected randomly of


the age above than 20 years.

Location:- Kanpur

Time spend with each respondent:- 20 min approx


FINDINGS
Most of the respondents insurance means LIC.
The perception about insurance is secure life from risk
according to the customers.
Only few person are interested to invested in insurance
Most of the respondents are prefer the LIC for insurance.
Many person are aware about IDBI Fedral.
Only few person are purchase the services of IDBI Fedral.
Lots of the respondents deal with the general banking sector.
Most of the customers of IDBI Fedral Life Insurance are
attracted to their Honesty and Quality Services.
Some respondents are aware about the Punch lines of IDBI
Fedral.
Many respondents aware about insurance companies from
Newspaper and Television those help to provide awareness
of the insurance products and companies.
SUGGESTIONS
There are some suggestions in our point of view which are following
below:-
IDBI Fedral needs to advertise.
Internet and social media promotions is quite a powerful tool.
Send emails.
Advertise on busy financial and investment blogs..
The companys advertisement should be more in Local TV channel and
News Paper.
The company should be open more branches in, zonal areas.
The policies amount should be taken by the company, is small
installment, so that more and more investors can take the policies of
the company.
The company should be developed more attractive product plan or
policies.
Attractive gift packages should be given by, company to customer, on
the basis of lottery system in every year.
IDBI needs to build trust with the customers
CONCLUSION
IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. is consistently driving
product and service innovations to cater to the need based
priorities of Indian masses and help them enjoy the goodness of
life. Despite challenges, we have expanded our customer reach,
strengthened our Operations, and developed a range of
innovative savings and protection Solutions to address evolving
customer aspirations. As we strengthen our industry presence,
we are inspired to do more. We are driven by our belief to touch
and transform peoples lives and create value for all
stakeholders.
IDBI Federal Life Insurance CO. Ltd. is a newly started Insurance
Company and trying their best to get in a positive position since
it belongs to Insurance business. It takes a lot of time to
recover the cost of starting of business.
CONCLUSION
Life insurance products are taken mainly by middle and higher
income group. Hence they should be regarded as maim
targeted income groups. Life insurance products which are
suitable for lower income group should also be released so that
the market share increases.
return on investment, company reputation and premium
outflow are most preferred attributes that are expected by the
respondents. Hence greater focus should be given to these
attributes.
The LIC brand name has earned a lot of goodwill and enjoys
high brand equity. As there is intense competition in life
insurance market, LIC should work hard to maintain its top
position and offer better service and product.
LIMITATIONS
There are some limitations which I faced during my work. Those
are following below:-
I have permission to survey only in KANPUR city.
I was select the only 60 number of sample size, by which my
survey report analysis is not more fluctuate.
Lack time respondents.
Some respondent due to unawareness about new tern they
cant be respondent well manner.
Change of business of research.
Lack of resources.
Lack of time.
Change of sampling error.
Many of them werent interested in answering the survey.
I was treated as a typical salesman.
