Introduction
In present scenario the weight reduction of
aircraft becomes a major aspect
The selected field of research is
manufacturing process for the
composite structure
Another advantage of composite structure
is it reduces the cost of manufacturing due
to reducing the assembly process time
the main aims are the manufacturing of
wing and characteristics of the material
used and after that the structural analysis
of the component (TURGUT, 2007)

Assumption And
Hand Techniques
layup technique is used and the
component is manufactured and cured at
room temperature
Getting exact mechanical property as
traditional material is not possible
Longitudinal tensile testing for the elastic
property
Mechanics of material approach also for
the elastic property
For the analysis of the model of the wing
the finite element method is used

Recommended Suggestion
ComplexityAnd Views
of manufacturing of the
composite material can be reduced
using different process like pressure
molding ,injection molding
The problem is designing of the mold
for the typical shape of the
component
we can work on that and one can find
the better way to manufacturing the
composite material component

Thesis Appreciation
The manufacturing of wing model is
appreciable, and also the making of
FEA model
The presentation of thesis is very
simple and very brief, figure and
table provided by the author is very
helpful
The abstract of the thesis is very
inviting and interesting and in
introduction the aim and aspects are
well explained 5

Proposed Title And Aim
Title- Manufacturing of co-cured
aircraft wing structure and
structural analysis of the co-
cured structure
The aim of proposed title is to
manufacture a wing as single
component for studying different
manufacturing technique and coming
with best manufacturing technique and
tools

PART-B
Paper selected for the brief knowledge
of topic
New composite design and
manufacturing methods for general
aviation aircraft structures
Structural Stability of integrally
manufactured composite skin
stringer assembly

Introduction Of Specific Topic
Of Research
The selected topic is manufacturing
of co-cured wing
The wing structural components like
spar stringer are merged in to the
skin panel of the wing and made as a
single component
This method reduces the assembly
time and tolerances which occurs
during the assembly
This method will reduce the fastener

Introduction Of Specific Topic
Of Research
Manufacturing component as single
part is not easy because of complex
tooling
For different shape different tool
used are very costly

Review On Papers
First paper New composite design
and manufacturing methods for
general aviation aircraft
structures
The focused goal was getting better
aerodynamic efficiency by producing
better surface of the structure
For manufacturing the fuselage as single
component filament winding technic is
used
for manufacturing the wing the resin
transfer method is used the wings stringer

Review On Papers
In result author gets that laminar flow 50-
60% of cord of the wing
second paper Structural Stability of
integrally manufactured composite skin
stringer assembly
Author compared the skin, stringer
assembly method one is by joining the
fasteners and another one is with the
adhesive
Method used to make component is
vacuum assisted resin transfer molding

Review On Papers
In this the skin stringer can produce
in single stage as an integrated part
which is also eliminate the use of
adhesive in skin stringer assembly
The structural stability is tested both
the experimental and analysis (FEA)

Experimental analysis
