Causes of
Admission In
the Agency
Dengue Hemorrhagic
Fever (DHF) is an acute
infectious viral disease
usually affecting infants
and young children. It is
characterized by fever
using the initial phase,
and other symptoms like
headache, pain in the
eye, joint pain, muscle
pain, etc., followed by
signs of bleeding, eg.,
petechiae (red tiny spots
DHF (Dengue hemorrhagic
fever)
Pneumonia is an
inflammatory condition of
the lungespecially
affecting the microscopic
air sacs (alveoli)
associated with fever,
chest symptoms, and a
lack of air space
(consolidation) on a chest
X-ray. Pneumonia is
typically caused by an
infection.
Pneumonia
Sepsis Neonatorum or
Neonatal sepsis is a blood
infection that occurs in an
infant younger than 90 days
old. Early-onset sepsis is seen
in the first week of life. Late-
onset sepsis occurs between
days 8 and 89.
A number of different bacteria,
including Escherichia coli
(E.coli), Listeria, and certain
strains of streptococcus, may
cause neonatal sepsis.
Sepsis Neonatorum
FRACTURE
The condition of having
been broken or ruptured:
"a sudden and
irreparable fracture of
the established order"
(W. Bruce Lincoln).
A break, rupture, or
crack, especially in bone
or cartilage.
Fractures
Acute gastroenteritis
could be more simply
called a long, and
potentially lethal bout of
stomach flu. The most
common symptoms are
diarrhea, vomiting and
stomach pain, because
whatever causes the
condition inflames the
gastrointestinal tract .
AGE (Acute
Gastroenteritis)
MPI (Multiple Physical Injury)
Abortion is defined as the
termination of pregnancy
by the removal or
expulsion from the uterus
of a fetus or embryo prior
to viability. An abortion
can occur spontaneously,
in which case it is usually
called a miscarriage, or it
can be purposely induced.
Abortion
Appendicitis is a
condition characterized
by inflammation of the
appendix. It is classified
as a medical emergency
and many cases require
removal of the inflamed
appendix, either by
laparotomy or
laparoscopy.
Infections of the
Central Nervous
System (CNS)
comprise meningitis
(affecting the
meninges),
encephalitis (affecting
brain parenchyma) and
myelitis (affecting the
spinal cord).
CNS Infection (Central
Nervous System)

Meningitis Encephalitis M
Cancer known
medically as a
malignant noeplasm, is
a large group of
different diseases, all
involving unregulated
cell growth. In cancer,
cells divide and grow
uncontrollably, forming
malignant tumors,
and invade nearby
Cancer

Causes of
DEATH
Pneumonia
is an inflammation of the lung, usually
caused by an infection. Three common
causes are bacteria, viruses and fungi.
You can also get pneumonia by
accidentally inhaling a liquid or
chemical. People most at risk are older
than 65 or younger than 2 years of
age, or already have health problems.
If you have pneumonia, you may have
difficulty breathing and have a cough
and a fever
Pneumonia
Cardiovascular disease is a general
category used for grouping diseases
that involve the heart and blood
vessels . Included under this
designation are such diverse medical
conditions as heart attack (myocardial
infarction), stroke, coronary heart
disease, cerebrovascular disease,
atherosclerosis, hypertension,
arrhythmia, and rheumatic heart
disease
CVD (Cardiovascular
Disease)

RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE

VA (Vehicular Accidents)
SEPSIS NEONATORUM
in a newborn is an infection that
spreads throughout the babys body.
Sepsis occurs in less than 1 percent of
newborns (1 out of every 100), but
accounts for up to 30 percent of
deaths in the first few weeks of life.
Infection is 5-10 times more common
in premature newborns and in babies
weighing less than 5pounds than in
normal-weight, full-term newborns.
Sepsis Neonatorum
Central Nervous System
Infections
The central nervous system, or
CNS, comprises the brain, the
spinal cord, and associated
membranes. Under some
circumstances, bacteria may enter
areas of the CNS. If this occurs,
abscesses or empyemas may be
established
CNS Infection

Meningitis Encephalitis M
Birth asphyxia
occurs when a baby doesn't
receive enough oxygen
before, during or just after
birth. There are many
reasons that birth asphyxia
may occur.
Birth Asphysia
Respiratory distress syndrome
also known as hyaline membrane disease.
The incidence and severity of respiratory
distress syndrome are related inversely to
the gestational age of the newborn infant.
. It usually occurs in newborns who are
preterm, have diabetic mothers, or were
delivered by caesarean section;
sometimes there is no apparent
predisposing cause.
This is the major cause of death in
neonates and survivors have a high risk
for chronic neurologic complications.
RDS (Respiratory Distress
Syndrome)
Coronary heart disease
(CHD)
is a narrowing of the small
blood vessels that supply
blood and oxygen to the
heart. CHD is also called
coronary artery disease.
CDH (Coronary Heart
Disease)
Hypertensive heart disease is
a complication of high blood
pressure. Causes
High blood pressure increases the
heart's workload. Over time, this
can cause the heart muscle to
thicken. As the heart pumps
against elevated pressure in the
blood vessels, the left ventricle
becomes enlarged and the
amount of blood pumped by the
heart each minute (cardiac
output) goes down
HCVD (Hypertensive cardiovascular
disease)
Acute myocardial infarction:
A heart attack.
The term "myocardial
infarction" focuses on the
heart muscle, which is called
the myocardium,and the
changes that occur in it due
to the sudden deprivation of
circulating blood.
AMI (Acute Myocardial
Infarction)
RESPONSE TO ERRATIC RATE
OF ILLNESS .

Tinakbo
ni biboy ang kanyang problema at
nakarating siya sa 3rd floor ng sunshine bed
and breakfast.
Biboy
