BOMBEO
ELECTROCENTRIFUGO

34.5kV) a 460 V o 380 V.

siguiente informacin:
Historia del pozo (Incluyendo Workovers, tratamientos qumicos,
etc..)
Historia y operacin de las instalaciones anteriores

CARTA IDEAL
IDEAL AMP CHART
1. Normal chart.
2. Steady load
A. No gas
B. No foreign material
3. Good power supply.
4. Properly sized
equipment.
5. Ideal sample
ERRATIC LOAD
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Varying fluid viscosity and/or fluid
density.
2. Heavy brine (kill fluids) or drill mud.
3. Producing sand.
4. Bad power supply.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
1. Attempt to circulate back through
pump. If possible, adjust the
controls (UL/OL) to keep unit
running until condition clears.
Application data must be reviewed
to establish an UL/OL range range
based on each application.
2. Check for sand production.
Decrease flow if excessive.
3. Verify voltage and current
balance.
4. If due to heavy fluids, reduce
flow.
ERRATIC LOAD
POSSIBLE CAUSES:

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
1.
OVERLOAD
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Viscosity change.
2. Sand possible, but doubtful.
3. Erratic & low voltage.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
A. Start
B. Steady load.
C. Amperage begins to decline.
D. Gas comes out of solution - Pump
gas locks shutting system down
on underload.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Unit too large for application.
2. High discharge pressure at
well head (not pump off)
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1. Unit possibly needs to be resized.
2. Back pressure on tubing.
3. Run a VSD.
4. Increase back pressure on tubing to
reduce flow rate.
GAS CHART
SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. No fluid.
2. Broken shaft or coupling.
3. Pump screen and/or intake
plugged.
4. Faulty motor controller.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1. Check idle amperage. Should
be roughly 50% of full load.
2. Verify OL, UL and timers are
working properly.
ERRATIC AMPERAGE ON START
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Pumping mud, sand, scale or some
other form of substance on start.
2. Problem cleared roughly 2.1 hours
after start.
3. Short term gas from formation - monitor
well for reoccurring gas.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1. Install surge protection.
2. Never restart a system that has
gone down on overload until
system is checked.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Pump too large for application.
2. Auto-Restart delay set too short.
3. Reduced flow from producing zone
or plugged perforations.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1. Resize unit.
2. Rework well.
3. Increase back pressure at surface
to reduce flow rate or install VSD.
UNDERLOAD
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1. Resize unit.
2. Reset underload.
3. Acidize. May aid in cleaning
pump if it is plugged.
4. Verify discharge pressure and/or flow
rate at surface.
A. Possible pump off.
B. UL NOT SHUTTING SYSTEM DOWN
POSSIBLE PROBLEMS:
A.
1. Pump too large for application.
2. Possible plugged pump - verify discharge
pressure.
3. Closed surface valve.
B.
Underload faulty, bypassed or incorrectly set.
SOLUTIONS:
1. Resize unit.
2. Acidize. May aid in clearing pump if it is
plugged.
3. Reset underload or replace.
EXCESSIVE CYCLING
PROBLEM:
1. Excessive cycling.
2. Extremely hard on an ESP system.
Both electrically and mechanically.
