1) In what way does stretching the job description like that
described here both strengthen and weaken job incumbents?
Strengthen

1) Able to train a worker with additional skills.

2) To add values to the worker for his future undertaking or any future job
opportunity.
3) To prove to the management or among the peers that the staff is able to be
multi-tasked, or multi-skilled. This will be stepping stone for better job
performance evaluation.
4) Able to understand more about company operations and management
structures and improve cross-department cooperation and relationship
5) Higher autonomy and higher authority.

described here both strengthen and weaken job incumbents?
Weaken

1) Not able to master the new skills, or not able to perform in his/her own
specialization.
2) Create unnecessary additional tension and pressure and cause behavior change

3) Less of efficiency due to tiredness when he /she is overloaded.

4) Unable to prioritize the work tasks.

5) Confused with different work cultures in different departments.

6) Memory impairment due to over simulation of brain function.

1) Reduced in household spending , will affect the GDP

2) Affect the company growth, it will affect the potential investors.

3) Reduce the chances of fresh graduates to get employed.

4) Lower GDP, lead to government to revise monetory policy by reducing


personal tax and increase company tax.
