Family
 God designed the family to be
composed of a man and a woman who
are married and committed to each
other. Therefore, the foundation of a
God-designed family is a godly
MARRIAGE.
God created man in His
own image, in the image
of God He created him;
male and female HE
created them
Genesis 2:27
1. PERMANENCY
For this reason a man shall leave his father
and his mother, and be joined to his wife, and
they shall become one flesh
(Genesis 2:24)

And He answered and said , Have you not read, that He
who created them from the beginning made them male and
female, and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father
and mother, And shall cleave to his wife; and THE TWO
SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH? Consequently they are no
longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined
together, let no man separate

The husband and wife need to form
ties that will make them inseparable
These ties are not Like the pretty silken
ribbons attached to a wedding presents.
Instead, they must be forged like Steel
in the heat of daily life and the pressures
of crisis in order to form a union that
cannot be Severed

Retaining the idea of divorce in your
emotional vocabulary- even as a last-ditch
option- will hinder The total effort you would
otherwise pour into your marriage. It will
sabotage your attempts to Improve your
relationship Keeping divorce as an escape
clause indicates a flaw in your commitment

2. INTIMACY
a. Marriage is the joining of two
individuals into one flesh.
Emotional
Spiritual oneness
Physical oneness
b. Marriage is for sexual pleasure and
protection.
Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in
the wife of your youth. She is a loving deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts satisfy you always. May you always be
captivated by her love. Proverbs 5:18-19
 1 Corinthians 7:2-5
But because there is so much sexual
immorality, each man should have his own
wife, and each woman should have her own
husband.
3 The husband should fulfill his wifes sexual needs,
and the wife should fulfill her husbands needs. 4 The
wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and
the husband gives authority over his body to his wife.
1 Corinthians 7:2-5
5 Do not deprive each other of sexual
relations, unless you both agree to refrain
from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you
can give yourselves more completely to
prayer. Afterward, you should come together
again so that Satan wont be able to tempt you
because of your lack of self-control.

Agape love is a behavior that is taught
and caught by the behavior of the
parents.
2. BIBLICAL VALUES
Parents hold deep core biblical values. They
pass these values on to their children.
(Conflict arises when values arent the same.)
3. MISSION AND SERVANT
These families purpose in life is intentional,
not haphazard.
4. SERVANT ATTITUDES
Children see their parents and they copy
them.
5. POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT
These families have a wonderful sense of humor.
They are fun loving, and able to laugh
At themselves. These families have the unusual
ability to re-frame tragedy. Rather than feeling
sorry for themselves and acting like victims, they
are able to re-label and become victors
6. GOOD COMMUNICATION
These families are open and transparent with
one another, they can talk about the bad as
well as the good.
7. FORGIVENESS
Family members can make mistakes and
receive forgiveness.
8. TRUST
Family members are able to relaxed, honest
and secure in their relationships.
They trust each other and value that trust.
Expect the best of each other. They give
others the benefit of the doubt.
9. TIME
Spending time together is high priority. They
are together at meal times, playing sports, on
vacation, even during recreation.
10. SPIRIT FILLED

 B. By SCRIPTURE
24 Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who
builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the
floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it wont collapse
because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and
doesnt obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the
rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse
with a mighty crash.

C. By the SPIRIT
22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of
fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no
law against these things!
Galatians 5:22-23
19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature,
the results are very clear: sexual immorality,
impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery,
hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger,
selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy,
drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these.
Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone
living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of
God.
