ANGELS AND DEMONS

 Nature & Ministry of Angels
. Hebrews 1:14 Angels are ministering spirits sent
forth to serve, for the sake of those who are to
obtain salvation.

Psalms 34:7 The angel of the LORD encamps around

those who fear him, and delivers them.

Psalms 91:11-12 For he will give his angels charge

of you to guard you in all your ways.On their hands
they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against
a stone.
 Seraphim
These are the highest order or choir of Angels.
They are angels who are attendants or
guardians before Gods throne. Seraphim has
six wings two cover their faces, two cover
their feet, and two for flying.
 Cherubim
Ranks after the Seraphims and are the second
highest in the nine hierarchies or choirs of
angels. Protector of the glory of God.
 Thrones
Thrones are the angles of pure Humility,Peace
and Submission. The lower Choir of Angels
needs the Thrones to access God.
 Dominions
Dominions are angels of Leadership. They
regulate the duties of the angels, making
known the commands of God.
 Virtues
Virtues are known as the Spirits of Motion and
control of the elements. They have control
over seasons,stars, moon; even the sun is
subject to their command. They are also in
charge of miracles and provide courage,valor
and grace.
 Powers
Powers are Warrior angels against evil
defending the cosmos and humans. They fight
against evil spirits who attempt to wreak
chaos to human beings.
 Archangels
Archangels are generally taken to mean chief
or leading angel, they are the most frequently
mentioned throughout the Bible. They maybe
of this or other hierarchies as St. Michael
Archangel, who is princely Seraph. The
Archangels have a unique role as Gods
messengers to the people at critical times in
history and salvation.
 Principalities
In the New Testament Principalities refers to
one type of spiritual (metaphysical) being
which now quite hostile to God and human
beings. Along with the principalities are the
powers and cosmological powers .
 Angels
These angels are closest to the material world
and human beings. They deliver the prayers to
God and Gods answers and other messages to
humans. Angels have the capacity to access
any and all other Angels at any time. They are
the most caring and social to assist those who
asks for help.
 DEMONS- The Fallen Angels
Revelation 12:7-9 Now war arose in heaven,
Michael and his angels fighting against the
dragon; and the dragon and his angels
fought,but they were defeated and there was
no longer any place for them in heaven.And
the great dragon was thrown down, that
ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and
Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he
was thrown down to the earth, and his angels
were thrown down with him.
 Pride: Lucifer
A great angel cast into Hell; also known as the
light bringer, the bearer of light, and the
morning star; inspires pride and rebellion.
 Anger/Wrath: Satan from away
from God; inspires mortal sins
An angel expelled from heaven; evil
personified; the great adversary; inspires
mankind to turn away from God; inspires
mortal sins
 Lust: Asmodeus
Demon of wrath; prince of demons; the father
of monsters; inspires gambling, deceit, lust,
and revenge.
 Envy: Leviathan
An enormous demon of darkness and chaos;
associated with the sea; inspires arrogance
and envy.
 Gluttony: Beelzebub
The prince of demons; the lord of the flies;
inspires gluttony, unholy desire, jealousy, war,
and murder..
 Avarice: Mammon
Demon of wealth; son of the Devil; inspires
gross injustice, idolatry, and the love of money
over all other things.
 Sloth: Belphegor
Demon of indifference; inspires extreme
laziness. spiritual apathy.
