Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into
the natural environment that cause adverse changes
There are three types of pollution
1. Land Pollution
2. Air Pollution
3. Water Pollution
LAND POLLUTION
Land pollution is the demolition of earths
land surfaces often caused by human
activities and their misuse of land resources
Agriculture
In addition herbicides pesticides artificial
fertilizers animal manure are washed into the
soil and pollute it
Industrial waste
Plastic factories, chemical plants, oil refineries,
nuclear waste disposal contribute to land pollution.
