I can learn that the painting is going to be very
masculine because the tittle is lion.

I can recognize the shading and how much detail
there is in the hair.

I can see texture in the fur and volume in the

Yellow, black, and white chalk are the media and
shading and lines are the techniques.

The focal point is the lion.

He black chalk is used to balance out the other
colors and the mood is serious.

The art work is ideal because it looks a lot more
masculine then a real lion because of the
shading.

There are no elements in this artwork to create

My eyes follow the fur because that is where
most of the shading is.

out the most.

There is symbolism and its courage; I think it
means leadership.

give the viewer when looking at the work?
I think the artist wanted to show masculinity
because he lion looks a lot more masculine then
a real lion. Or the artist wanted to show
courage.

distinctive feeling because it is in a natural

I think that it is not unique because it is just a
lion.

I think some improvements could be more
colors like using oil pastels or paint. Another
improvement could be making it more majestic
by giving it wing.
