 ABOUT THE FACULTY
Mr.V.Ramavallabhan is a Physics Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Master of Business Administration
(PGDMBA), Diploma in Production Management (DPM). Lead Auditor ISO 9001 Quality Management System,
by IRCA and Lead Auditor ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System, by IATF.
He has contributed his services to various Multi-National companies over 2 decades and exposed to Multi Branches
of industries namely Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Plastics, in the areas of Research & Development,
Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Reliability, Supplier Development, Product Transfer, Agency Approvals,
Customer Support, Process Engineering, Etc.. He has traveled to countries like Singapore, USA and Srilanka for
New Product development, Supplier development, Product Transfer, Training & Development of the employees.
As a continuous learner, he undergoes appropriate up gradation of knowledge to strengthen his capabilities and to
be par with the latest trends. He has also presented papers in International seminar on various topics like TQM,
Global Warming, etc.
Currently since the year 2005 he renders his Industrial training / System implementation in the industries towards
Business Development, World Class Manufacturing, TQM implementation and does consultancy services to
leading companies across India.. His consultancy include System certifications like ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS
18001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO/TS 29001, etc and Product Certifications like CE,UL, ISI, etc..
The industries trained and undertook projects include Automobile, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Plastics,
FMCG, Cement, Sugar, Rubber, Chemical, etc.
So far he has conducted 100s of training programs covering various corporate required titles on Manufacturing,
Quality, Design etc. 1000s of participants have been benefited out of his programs.
His methodology of the program will be merging the Clients activities of Business into the requested program and
making them a Tailor made to the particular client and also fine tunes to the level of audience. He is conversant with
Tamil, Hindi and English and gives lecture on any of these languages as per the audience request.
On Soft skills, he has trained 1000s of corporate staff, College Students and Faculties on various titles and
received Awards..
On Projects, he has completed and working on various projects on Business Development, Quality System
Enhancement, TQM, Product Transfer, 5S, Waste Elimination, FMEA, PPAP Documentation, ISO 9001, ISO
14001,OHSAS 18001,ISO/TS 16949, ISO/TS 29001,etc.

This has lot of meaning. One who understands this perfectly will
really wins in their life.
A person may be technically sound. He/She could find a solution for
any problem in his/her area of domains. But when he/she is not able to
define a situation and express clearly what he/she wants to solve a
problem or to get an approval from the management, such skills are
neither useful to him/her or to the organization where he/she works.
This is one of the reasons why some people are not able to grow
beyond a certain stage.
Hence an individual has to develop communication skills along with
his/her various attributes. One can coin or convert his/her various
attributes into an income or growth by using proper communication
as a channel.

Tips for presenting a case to the management for getting positive
response.
1. Define the Objective clearly in very few words.
2. Describe the situation in terms of its condition how they are, what are all
the current disadvantages in terms of wastage in materials, money, time,
reputation, etc.
3. Describe what makes such a situation (Root cause).
4. Describe the remedial measures which could be taken for it (Corrective
Action)
5. Clearly define the cost involved for implementing and controlling the
corrective action.
6. Indicate the list of Return on Investments (ROIs) in terms of Cost saving,
Wastage Control, Saving in Time, Customer Satisfaction, Etc.
7. Indicate clearly when such ROIs will start reflecting.
8. Most importantly once the project is executed, keep track of relevant data
on the measures which are indicated in the proposal placed for the
managements approval.
9. Report them and maintain history of records of such projects. 5

processes are established within the organisation and the
communication takes place regarding the effectiveness of the
Quality Management System.

LEARNING:

Only when people in an organisation are in a same plane, the

organisation shall achieve their set objectives.
In order to have all the people in a same plane, effective
communication among people is very much essential.
A good idea rising from people in an organisation might not get
implemented because of poor or lack of communication.
