OBJECTIVE

Studying literature on different transformer monitoring.

Studying the existing method transformer monitoring.
Analyze and design for the proposed system.
Implement the proposed design of transformer
monitoring and controlling with IOT based system.

Department of EEE 2
ABSTRACT

Transformers are a vital part of the transmission and distribution

system.
Monitoring transformers for problems before they occur can pre-
vent faults that are costly to repair and result in a loss of service.
This mobile system helps to identify problems before any
catastrophic failure using IOT.
The proposed design is developed for the user to easily recognize
the distribution transformer that is suffered by any problems.

Department of EEE 3
INTRODUCTION

The existing monitoring system ensures only stealing of power.

The real time monitoring system detect all operating
parameters.
Identify problems before any serious problem occurs.
Cost effective.
Greater relaibility.

CONCLUSION

Transformers are most generic equipment used in transmission

and distribution system.
Regular monitoring increase its reliability.
The oil level, temperature rise, etc can be monitored using
GSM.
