Fibres are pulled in parallel form further forming a

thin web

They pass through funnels that produce rope like

strands of the parallel fibres

Blending takes place by joining different laps of

fibres
The result of this process is called sliver.
A comb like device arranges the fibres into parallel form
Fibres are subjected to a further paralleling method for smooth
and finer yarns

The sliver is fed

through a machine
called the Roving
Frame where the
strands of fibres are
further elongated and
given additional twist.
Spinning
The roving is fed from the spool through rollers. The spindle turns
the bobbin at a constant speed. This turning of the bobbin and the
movement of the traveler twists and winds the yarn in one
operation.

Dyeing is a method which imparts beauty to the textile by applying various colors
on the fabric. Dyeing can be done at any stage of the manufacturing of textile- fiber,
yarn, fabric or a finished textile product including garments and apparels. The property
of color fastness depends upon two factors- selection of proper dye according to the
textile material to be dyed and selection of the method for dyeing the fiber, yarn or
fabric.
Dyeing Techniques

Continuous Exhaust
Continuous Dyeing is most suitable for woven fabrics.
The textile substrates are feeded continuously into the dye range.
A continuous process typically consist of dye application, dye fixation
with heat or chemicals and finally washing.
Exhaust Dyeing is the process in which first polyester part is dyed
in beam dyeing machine or jet dyeing machine and the cotton part is
dyed in the jigger machine.
It is a Batch process.
